"The Hail Won't Stop"
Jun. 11th, 2008 08:53 pmMy daughter just announced that this is the mystery to solve for tonight. I wished her luck and let her sleuthing begin.
I myself get just giddy in thunderstorms (and hailstorms). I even liked ogling the summer lightening storms in Minot North Dakota--no rain, just lightening and thunder. It's fun to sit on porch and listen to Garth Brooks' "Thunder Rolls" during a storm--cranked up so you can hear it over the storm.
I think my daughter's pronouncement "The Hail Won't Stop" should be a political slogan of some sort (can't imagine what it could mean), or at least a song title or sports team tag-line. Tonight, the Spokane Hail crushed the Seattle Slugs...and The Hail Won't Stop. Or the title of a plot-less off-Broadway show.
The sky to the West is pink and a rainbow frowns from the East.
