PickYourPresident.org

I just voted for my favorite presidential candidate in a unique online poll of folks from California, Colorado, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin and Washington.

I thought you would be interested in participating as well.

Once you vote, you can see the results. It should be interesting to see who wins.

At this point in the race, I'm supporting John Edwards.  I liked Bill Richardson before he withdrew.  While Kucinich is the only real progressive in the race, I'll probably pull an intact "Frosty" out of the oven before he's elected.  I love Barack Obama and would love to see him as president, but I'm really liking the idea I heard the other day of getting 16 years of service from him as a VP pick now and the President in 2016.  I confess, I was a Clinton-disliker--on the issues I still am.  But her show of emotion the other day really did seem genuine to me--I liked it.  But it's not enough for me to support her.  She and my Senator Maria Cantwell just seem to be on the wrong side of too many issues for me.  They may be Democrats, but I have difficulty imagining they could be progressives.

Thanks!

What?

What do you click on in order to vote? I couldn't figure it out and I'm a college graduate.

I assume you are asking where in my post to click. I edited and turned the site address into a clickable hyperlink.

Did you go to UW-Mad or just live there?

Voting for president

At this point I am voting for John Edwards. He has fought the corporations in the courtroom and he knows what he is doing. He has actual plans not just rhetoric. I would have voted for Chris Dobbs and I love Dennis Kucinnich and Joe Biden. Hillary is too far to the right for me and as for Barak, I just dont think he could handle the vicious dog fight that will start if he is nominated.

I think Obama is up for the challenge. I can't imagine this country electing another Republican for four more years of disaster, death, and indebtedness.

Is there much in the way of local organizing in the Albequerque area for Edwards? Our caucus isn't until Feb 9th. After your Super Tuesday, I wonder who will be left for us to caucus for in Washington.

On the Democratic side,it sucks! No matter how you vote, it will not count. If Hillary got every vote. it would not count. By moving up its date, the DNC will not let it count. Rules were made to be broken, this vote will test that. Could MI hold a caucus on its assigned date and then be counted? This seems to be the only hope for MI, to be a valid part of the process in 2008. What do you think, O loyal Democrats. Tune in let us know what you think.
Kenneth L. OKE, Long time MI Democrat.

The candidates seem to think that both Florida and Michigan delegates will be restored before the national convention. We'll see.
